Show off your Record Collection with LP Record Album Frames

Do you collect LP records? Or maybe you just have an all-time favorite album that you just can't part with? Why not show those old LP record albums off by framing them and hanging them where everyone can admire them?

Some of the album cover artwork can be just as beautiful as the music on the record inside; think of Roger Dean's work for Yes, and the album cover artwork on records like, The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Now picture those albums framed and hanging in your den. Awesome, right? And collectible picture disc records are especially well suited towards being framed, although you will have to decide which side of the album you want to display which in some cases can be a very difficult decision.

Framing your treasured LP albums is not only a terrific way to decorate your home but it's also a great way to protect your best music memorabilia. Vinyl records need to be kept flat and in a comfortable environment to keep them safe from getting warped, scratched, or damaged from moisture and heat. In my opinion, there's just no better way to keep your records safe than by framing them.

LP Record Album Framing Ideas

The absolute best way to frame your most precious records is to bring them to a professional framer to be custom framed and matted but there are less expensive options that you can use. There are plenty of pre-made LP record album frames on the market today that are the perfect fit for a 12 inch record.

Another option you have if you want to use LP records as artwork in your home is to purchase albums that are already in frames. Most of the prettiest albums are available pre-framed and a quick online search is sure to bring you good results.

If you're handy in the woodworking department you can even try building your own frames for your record collection. I'm not one of the lucky people who were blessed with such talents but I found a site with easy-to-follow directions for those of you who know how to throw a hammer down. Visit How to Make Album Cover Frames to see it.

Whichever way you choose to do it, you'll find that displaying your record album collection in frames is a satisfying decision and one that you'll be glad you did in the years and decades to come.
